Outpatient services include pre-pregnancy counselling, the management of infertility, fibroids and heavy menstrual periods or menorrhagia, recurrent miscarriage, menopause, well woman checks and contraceptive advice.
Women who have chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and renal disease benefit from pre-pregnancy counselling, to try to ensure that they embark on a pregnancy in optimal health. |
